Joseph Shambrook

Joseph was born on February 10th, 1834 in Potters Bar, Middlesex and his baptism took place on March 9th, 1834 in South Mims Parish Church conducted by minister R. D. Warren.¹

Joseph's father was Daniel Shambrook and his mother was Maria Lane.  His paternal grandparents were James Shambrook and Elizabeth Bent. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Daniel, David, Benjamin, Ann, Maria, Mary, Rebecca, Eliza and Charlotte.  He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
