Rachael was born on January 19th, 1811 and her baptism took place on February 24th, 1811.1   Rachael's father was John Marshall and her mother was Sophia Senier.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Marshall and Sarah Hattersley; her maternal grandfather was George Senior (Taylor) and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, John, Timothy, Ellen, Susannah, Mary and Sophia.
