Ann's baptism took place on June 23rd, 1816 in Saint Peter, Leeds.1  Ann's father was John Hemingway and her mother was Ellen Marshall.  Her maternal grandparents were John Marshall and Sophia Senier. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Isaac, Ellen, Sophia, Rachel, Elizabeth and Mary.
