Hiram Owen

Hiram was born on April 16th, 1804 in Bethel, Windsor County, VT.¹ Hiram's father was Andrew Owen and his mother was Sarah Walden Newman. His paternal grandparents were Sylvanus (Silvanus) Owen and Eunice Roberts. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Silas Whitman, David, Susan, Eunice, Lucy, Amanda, Mary, Betsy and Alice. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.¹
