David "Little David" Owen 
David "Little David" was born on November 11th, 1821 in Bethel, Windsor County, VT.1 David "Little David"'s father was Silas Whitman Owen and his mother was Roxanna Albee. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Owen and Sarah Walden Newman. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Savilla, Merrill Albee, Andrew, Amariah, Norman Whitman, Hiram, Silas Whitman, Eunice and Elvira. He was the second oldest of the ten children. EIGHTH GENERATION
"Little" David Owen [8] (Silas [7], Andrew [6], Sylvanus [5], Josiah III [4], Josiah II [3], Josiah I [2], John [1]), son of Silas and Roxanna (Albee) Owen, was born November 11, 1821 at Bethel, Windsor County, VT, and died there June 3, 1907. He married August 26, 1847 Diancy Lamb of Woodstock, VT. She was born April 18, 1824 and died December 20, 1905.
He and his brother Merrill bought the farm of their Uncle David, which had once belonged to their grandfather Andrew Owen. Later David bought out his brother's share. In 1912 it belonged to his son, Herbert E. Owen.
