Philena Howard 
Philena was born on October 29th, 1799 in Jamaica, Windham VT.. Philena's father was Calvin Hayward and her mother was Hannah Wellman. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Hayward and Mary Wheaton; her maternal grandfather was Reuben Wellman and her maternal grandmother is Mary Grover. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Calvin, Leland, Porter, Joel Manning, Kendrick, Sarah Wellman, Elizabeth, Mary, Pearly, Susan and Ursula. She died at the age of 91 in 1890 in Mason, Michigan.General Notes
Spelling of Philena's first name has been found as "Philana" and "Philend
a" as well as "Philena" The names Howard and Hayward have also been us
