Benjamin Hayward 
Benjamin was born on February 14th, 1689 in Mendon, MA. Benjamin's father was Samuel Hayward and his mother was Mehitable Thompson. His paternal grandparents were William Hayward and Margery Knight; his maternal grandparents were John Thomson Sr and Sarah UNKNOWN. He was an only child. He died about May 1766 in Mendon, MA.General Notes
He removed to South Precinct where he acquired after 1719 the "Bendall Far
m" inpresent Randolph west of Cross St. and south of Canton St., a large t
ract of 200 acres with present Chestnut St. running through the northern p
art. He owned at least 100 acres of it but no deeds of it are on record. (

He was elected surveyor of highways 1726, constable 1729, tithingman 1733,
