John was born on October 19th, 1666 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts. John's father was Samuel Hall and his mother was Elizabeth White. His paternal grandparents were George Hall and Mary UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas White and Susanna Foster. He was an only child. JOHN HALL - may have been the son of Samuel Hall of Taunton; born Oct. 1
9, 1666. Lived in the Mansfield part of Norton, near to Cobbler's Corne
r, probablyon the east side of Rumford River; and was at one time, o
ne of the owners ofa gristmill near Cobbler's Corner. He married Elizabe
th King, Dec. 17, 1696.Supposed to have had a wife Esther in 1711, a
nd a wife Ruth in 1720, and whomarried Sarah Welman on March 7, 1726-7. O
ne of the original members of the church. Supposed to have been dead previ
ous to 1738.
