Alberade was born in 0930 in Hainault, Netherlands.  Alberade's father was Giselbert Duke of Lorraine and her mother was Gerberge of Saxony Abbess of Notre Dame.  Her paternal grandfather was Regnier I "Longneck" de Hennegau Count of Hainaut and her paternal grandmother is Ermentrude (Hersent) Abbess of Hasnon; her maternal grandparents were Henry I "the Fowler" Holy Roman Emperor and Matilda von Ringelheim. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henri, Biltrude and Gerberga. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Lothair, Louis, Charles, Henri, Charles and Mahaut.  She died at the age of 43 on March 15th, 0973.  She was buried after March 15th, 0973 in Abbaye de Saint Remy, Reims, Normandie, France.


Alberade's family with Renaud de Roucy Count of Roucy

‌Alberade and Renaud de Roucy were married in a religious ceremony on November 5th, 0945.  They had a son and a daughter, named Giselbert de Roucy and Ermentrude.
