Charles II "the Bald" was born on June 13th, 0823 in Frankfurt, Hessen-Nassau.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 54 on October 6th, 0877 in Modano or Brios, France.


Charles II "the Bald"'s first family with Ermentrude De Orleans Countess

‌Charles II "the Bald" and Ermentrude were married in a religious ceremony in 0842.  They had four sons and five daughters, named Louis II "the Stammerer", Charles of Aquitane, Lothar the Lame, Carloman, Judith, Rotrude of Poitiers, Hildegard, Gisele and Ermentrude (Hersent).


Charles II "the Bald"'s second family with Richildis d'Autun

‌Charles II "the Bald" and Richildis were married in a religious ceremony on November 25th, 0870.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Drogo, Pippin, Charles and Rothilde.
