Her maternal grandparents were Count Eudes De Orleans Count and Engeltrude De Paris. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Louis II "the Stammerer", Charles of Aquitane, Lothar the Lame, Carloman, Judith, Rotrude of Poitiers, Hildegard and Gisele. She is the youngest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Drogo, Pippin, Charles and Rothilde.-
