King of France was born in 0941 in Laon, Aisne, Picardy, France.1   King of France's father was 'transmarinus' King of France Louis IV and his mother was Gerberga von Sachsen Princess of Germany.  His paternal grandparents were "The Simple" King of Franks Charles III and Princess of England Eadgiva. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Prince of the Franks, Charles, Charles Duke of Lower, Duke of Lower Lorraine, Charles, Princess of the Franks, Matilda of France, Matilda (Maud) Princess of and of France, Queen of Burgundy.  He was the oldest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named , King of France Capet, Otto Eudes , Duke of Burgundy, Duke of Lower Burgundy, Heinrich I, Duke of Burgundy, Heribert [illegitimate], Alberade of, Countess of Vermandois, Hedwig, Countess of Luxembourg, Albrade of Lorraine, Gerberge of Lorraine, Beatrix , of France, Lady of Normandy, Emma and Beatrix of France, Duchess of Upper Lorraine.  He died at the age of 45 in 0986.  He was buried in 0986.2 1
