Beatrix of France, Duchess of Upper Lorraine was born about 0948.1   Beatrix of France, Duchess of Upper Lorraine's father was King of France Hugh "The Great" Magnus, King of France and her mother was Gerberga von Sachsen Princess of Germany.  Her paternal grandparents were King Robert I King of France and of Vermandois Queen of France Beatrice. She had six brothers and three sisters, named , King of France Capet, Otto Eudes , Duke of Burgundy, Duke of Lower Burgundy, Heinrich I, Duke of Burgundy, Heribert [illegitimate], Beatrix , of France, Lady of Normandy and Emma. She had seven half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Herbert Hugues, King of France, Prince of the Franks, Charles, Charles Duke of Lower, Duke of Lower Lorraine, Charles, Alberade of, Countess of Vermandois, Hedwig, Countess of Luxembourg, Albrade of Lorraine, Gerberge of Lorraine, Princess of the Franks, Matilda of France, Matilda (Maud) Princess of and of France, Queen of Burgundy.  She died after 0987.1
