Louis I "the Pious" Carolingian of the was born in August 0778 in Casseneuil,Lot Et Garonne,France and his baptism took place on October 6th, 0977 in Emperor 814-40.1   Louis I "the Pious" Carolingian of the's father was King Charlemagne Emperor of Holy Roman Empire [King of The Fra and his mother was Empress Hildegard Schwabien of Holy Roman Empire Countess of Vinzgau.  His paternal grandparents were King Pepin "The Short" of Franks and Countess Bertrada of Laon Queen of The Franks; his maternal grandparents were Duke Gerold I of Swabia and Duchess Imma of Swabia. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Pepin I Carloman of, Charles Of Holy Roman, Lothaire Of, Charles, Adelheid of, Rotrud of, Bertha Of The, Bertha Of The Holy Roman, Gisaele Of, Hildegarde Of, Berthebertha de, Alpisaupais de and Dhouda of. He had eight half-brothers and ten half-sisters, named Pepin 'The Hunchback', Rotud (Rotrud), Charles 'The Younger' of, Lotharingia (Lothar), Drogo of, Hugo l'Abbe "The Bastard", Drogo of, Hugh of, Aupaisalpais, Adelaide, Bertha, Hildegard, Gisela, Hiltrude, Theodrada of, Adelinda Bastard of, Ruothild of and Adaltrude (Aupais) Abbess of.  He died at the age of 61 on June 20th, 0840 in near Ingelheim,Rhinehessen,Hesse,Germany.  He was buried in 0840 in Aachen Cathedral,Aachen,Rheinland,Prussia.1
