Gisle of was born about 0818 in Friuli (Lombard Province).  Gisle of's father was King Louis I "the Pious" Carolingian of the Franks and her mother was Princess Judith "Fair Maid" Of Bavaria Empress of Holy Roman Empire.  Her paternal grandparents were King Charlemagne Emperor of Holy Roman Empire [King of The Fra and Empress Hildegard Schwabien of Holy Roman Empire Countess of Vinzgau; her maternal grandparents were Duke Guelph I Welf I Of Bavaria and Egilwichhelwig de Challes. She had five brothers and a sister, named Ludwig Louis II "The German" of, Lothair I or Lotharius, Charles II "The Bald" of France, Emperor ofThe, Pepin I, Louis the German and Gisele. She had two half-brothers and eleven half-sisters, named Lothaire I of Italy Emperor of, Pepin I of, Aupais, Rotrude Princess Of The Holy Roman, Hildegarde of, Alpaide Alpais, Rotrude of, Rotrude, Alpaide Alpais, Hildegarde Of, Adelaide Adelheid, Adele Adelaide de and Unknown.  She died after July 1st, 0876 in Italy.


Gisle of's family with Count Eberhard Margave of Friuli

‌Gisle of and Eberhard Margave of were married in a religious ceremony in 0836 in France.  They had two sons and four daughters, named Hunroch, Berengar I Koenig von, Lady Hatwig Hatwige Oda of, Reginlinde Of, Judith De and Heilwise de.
