Thomas TEFFT 
Thomas was born in 1656 in Of, , Rhode Island. Thomas' father was Samuel TEFFT and his mother was Elizabeth JENCKES. His paternal grandparents were John TEFFT and Mary BARBER; his maternal grandparents were Joseph JENCKS [II] and Esther BALLARD. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Solomon, Peter, Samuel, Esther, Mary, Sarah, Susannah, Elizabeth, Tabitha and Mercy. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 70 in 1726.-
