Sarah was born on March 25th, 1668 in South Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island. Sarah's father was Samuel TEFFT and her mother was Elizabeth JENCKES. Her paternal grandparents were John TEFFT and Mary BARBER; her maternal grandparents were Joseph JENCKS [II] and Esther BALLARD. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Solomon, Peter, Samuel, Esther, Mary, Susannah, Elizabeth, Tabitha and Mercy. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island.-
