Tabitha was born about 1688 in South Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island. Tabitha's father was Samuel TEFFT and her mother was Elizabeth JENCKES. Her paternal grandparents were John TEFFT and Mary BARBER; her maternal grandparents were Joseph JENCKS [II] and Esther BALLARD.
