Mary was born about 1658 in South Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island. Mary's father was Samuel TEFFT and her mother was Elizabeth JENCKES. Her paternal grandparents were John TEFFT and Mary BARBER; her maternal grandparents were Joseph JENCKS [II] and Esther BALLARD. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Solomon, Peter, Samuel, Esther, Sarah, Susannah, Elizabeth, Tabitha and Mercy. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died in Probably, Voluntown, Connecticut.-
