Mathew Greer 
Mathew was born on May 16th, 1784 in FRANKLIN CO, VA. Mathew's father was James GREER and his mother was Elizabeth Greer. His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Greer and his paternal grandmother is Rachel Lowe; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Greer Twin and Ann Lowe. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, EZEKIEL (SR), Isaiah, John, Benjamin, Rachel and Rhoda. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 84 on May 17th, 1868 in BARREN COUNTY, KY. He was buried in CHAMBERS-GREER, CEM, NR CANEY CREEK, BARREN CO KY.-
