Eliza was born on February 7th, 1819 in STAUNTON, VA, Franklin. Eliza's father was EZEKIEL (SR) Greer and her mother was Jemima Saunders. Her paternal grandparents were James GREER and Elizabeth Greer; her maternal grandparents were Philemon SAUNDERS and Jemima GREER. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry T., Moses, Berry L., EZEKIEL Greer, Lucy and Polly. She is the third oldest of the seven children.-
