Eleanor was born on June 17th, 1264 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.  Eleanor's father was Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of England and her mother was Eleanor of Castile & Leon.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet of England and Eleanor Berenger of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Ferdinand III the Saint of Castile & Leon and Johanna de Danmartin of Ponthieu. She had four brothers and ten sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward II Caernarvon of, Julian Katherine, Joan of Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary, Alice and Isabella. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas Plantagenet of, Edmund Plantagenet of, John and Eleanor.  She died after 1273 in Ghent, Flanders.  She was buried in 1297 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.

‌Eleanor and Henry III of were married in a religious ceremony on September 20th, 1293 in Champagne, France.  They had a son and two daughters, named Edward I of, Eleanor of and Joan of.
