Stephen de Blois of was born about 1096 in Blois, Anjou, France.  Stephen de Blois of's father was Stephen Henry the Sage of Blois and his mother was Adela de Normandy.  His paternal grandfather was Theobald III (Thibaut I de Champagne) of Blois and his paternal grandmother is Alix de Crepi; his maternal grandparents were William I the Conqueror of England and Mathilda of Flanders. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Humbert of, Henry of, Philip of, William, Theobald III the Great of, Matilda of, Odo of, Agnes of, Eleanor of, Lithiuse (Adele) of, Alice of and Emma of.  He died on October 25th, 1154 in Dover Castle, Kent, England.  He was buried in 1154 in Faversham Abbey, Kent, England.
