Eustace IV of was born about 1130.  Eustace IV of's father was Stephen de Blois of England and his mother was Matilda of Boulogne.  His paternal grandparents were Stephen Henry the Sage of Blois and Adela de Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Eustace III of Boulogne and Mary of Scotland. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Baldwin of, William de Blois of, Marie of and Matilda of.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died on August 16th, 1153 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.  He was buried in 1153 in Faversham Abbey, Kent, England.
