Evelyn Docia was born on December 26th, 1909 in Wapenucka, Jonston Co., Oklahoma.1 Evelyn Docia's father was James A. Garfield Cecil and her mother was Kate Means. Her maternal grandparents were Caleb Sewell Means and Docia Emeline Norris. She has five brothers and five sisters, named Paul Grissom, Clarence, James Haskell (Hack), Kent Byrn, William Russell, Mary Aline, Roxie Ellis, Gladys Grace, Faye and Raye.
