William Russell Cecil 
William Russell was born on January 5th, 1918 in Wapenucka, Jonston Co., Oklahoma.1 William Russell's father was James A. Garfield Cecil and his mother was Kate Means. His maternal grandparents were Caleb Sewell Means and Docia Emeline Norris. He has four brothers and six sisters, named Paul Grissom, Clarence, James Haskell (Hack), Kent Byrn, Evelyn Docia, Mary Aline, Roxie Ellis, Gladys Grace, Faye and Raye.
