Minnie Pearl Basham 
Minnie Pearl was born on March 12th, 1916.1 Minnie Pearl's father was Samuel 'Green' Basham and her mother was Alta Florence (Altie) Lemasters. Her paternal grandparents were Benajah Anderson Basham and Nancy E. Turner. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Millard Thomas, James Marion, John Vollie, Samuel Green (Sam), Charles Frank, Living, Urline B. and Living. She had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Henry (Evans), Riley Palestine (Tiny), Lonnie Valentine, Edward Calvin, Morgan Mayberry, Velmer, Tony Bedford, Mary Isbell, Ellen Paradine, Nellie Caroline and Bennie Jane. She died at the age of 49 on May 20th, 1965 in Bowling Green, Warren Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
