Edward Calvin Basham 
Edward Calvin was born on November 4th, 1897 in Kentucky.1 Edward Calvin's father was Samuel 'Green' Basham and his mother was Nancy Jane Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Benajah Anderson Basham and Nancy E. Turner. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Henry (Evans), Riley Palestine (Tiny), Lonnie Valentine, Mary Isbell, Ellen Paradine, Nellie Caroline and Bennie Jane. He had nine half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Morgan Mayberry, Velmer, Tony Bedford, Millard Thomas, James Marion, John Vollie, Samuel Green (Sam), Charles Frank, Living, Minnie Pearl, Urline B. and Living. He died at the age of 56 on August 25th, 1954 in Edmonson Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
