Millard Thomas was born on September 2nd, 1917 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 Millard Thomas' father was Samuel 'Green' Basham and his mother was Alta Florence (Altie) Lemasters. His paternal grandparents were Benajah Anderson Basham and Nancy E. Turner. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Marion, John Vollie, Samuel Green (Sam), Charles Frank, Living, Minnie Pearl, Urline B. and Living. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Henry (Evans), Riley Palestine (Tiny), Lonnie Valentine, Edward Calvin, Morgan Mayberry, Velmer, Tony Bedford, Mary Isbell, Ellen Paradine, Nellie Caroline and Bennie Jane. He died at the age of 69 on March 7th, 1987 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
