Frances Ann Thomas was born on October 5th, 1872 in Newton,Scott Co.,KY. Frances Ann Thomas' father was William Chauncey Piper and her mother was Mary Lavinia Sims. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Herndon Piper and Anna Blackburn. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Augustus Bowman, Edward Sims, Richard Ricketts, Lucy C. and Mary. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 81 on October 30th, 1953 in Lexington,Fayette Co.,KY. She was buried in Lexington Cemetery,Lexington,Fayette Co.,KY.General Notes
