Edward Sims Piper 
Edward Sims was born in 1865 in Mercer Co.,KY. Edward Sims' father was William Chauncey Piper and his mother was Mary Lavinia Sims. His paternal grandparents were Edward Herndon Piper and Anna Blackburn. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Augustus Bowman, Richard Ricketts, Lucy C., Frances Ann Thomas and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 74 in 1939 in KY.General Notes
