Gilbert VII Earl Of Pembroke was born about 1196 in Pembroke, Pembroke, Wale and his baptism took place in 1203 in St David's, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  Gilbert VII Earl Of Pembroke's father was William The Protector Marshall and his mother was Isabel De Clare.  His paternal grandparents were John The Marshal Fitzgilbert and Sibilla Sibyl De Salisbury; his maternal grandparents were Richard Strongbow Fitzgilbert Clare and Eve Aoife Macmurrough. He had five sisters named Sybil, Maud, Eve, Isabel and Joane.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died on June 27th, 1241 in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.  He was buried in Temple Church, London, Middlesex, England.
