Maud was born about 1237 in Shere, Surrey, England.  Maud's father was John Justiciar Of Ireland Fitzgeoffrey and her mother was Isabel Bigod.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Fitzpiers and Eveline Aveline De Clare; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Bigod and Maud Marshal. She had three sisters named Isabel, Aveline and Joan.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-sisters named Margaret De and Maud Matilda De.  She died about April 18th, 1301 in Grey Friars, Worcestershire, England.  She was buried on May 7th, 1301 in Grey Friars, Worcestershire, England.

‌Maud and William De were married in a religious ceremony before 1270 in Worcestershire, England.  They had a son and a daughter, named Guy De and Isabel De.
