Maud Matilda De was born about 1230 in Derby, Derbyshire, England.  Maud Matilda De's father was William III De Ferrers and her mother was Sybil Marshal.  Her paternal grandparents were William II De Ferrers and Agnes De Meschines; her maternal grandparents were William The Protector Marshall and Isabel De Clare. She had three sisters named Isabel De, Agnes De and Joan.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Joan De.


Maud Matilda De's family with William Fort De Vivonne

‌Maud Matilda De and William Fort De were married in a religious ceremony on July 30th, 1248.  They had two daughters named Joan De and Cecily De.
