Joan De was born in 1248 in Derby, Derbyshire, England.  Joan De's father was William III De Ferrers and her mother was Margaret De Quincy.  Her paternal grandparents were William II De Ferrers and Agnes De Meschines; her maternal grandparents were Roger De Quincy and Helen Of Galloway. She had four half-sisters named Isabel De, Agnes De, Joan and Maud Matilda De.  She died in St Augustine Priory, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.  She was buried in St Augustines, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.


Joan De's family with Thomas The Wise Berkeley

‌Joan De and Thomas The Wise were married in a religious ceremony in 1267.  They had a son named Maurice II Magnanimous 2Nd Baron De.
