Maud De was born about 1116 in Meulan, Normandy, France.  Maud De's father was Robert I De Beaumont and her mother was Isabel Elizabeth De Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger De Beaumont and Adeliza Adeline De Mellant; her maternal grandparents were Hugh The Great' Crepi and Adelaide De Vermandois. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert Bossu The Just De, Waleran Lord De, Isabel Elizabeth De, Eleanor De, Adeline De and Alice Dau Of Robert De.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William De, Reginald De, Ella De, Ada De and Gundred De.  She died after 1189 in England.

‌Maud De and Simon III Chauve De were married in a religious ceremony about 1145 in Normandy, France.  They had a son and a daughter, named Guy De and Bertha Bertrade De.
