Henry E. Buerling 
Henry E. was born on May 13th, 1882 in Distelrath, Dueren, Rheinprovinz, Prussia.1 Henry E.'s father was William J. Buerling and his mother was Elizabeth Uhr. His maternal grandfather was John Uhr. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Bill Jr., Franklin Herman, Charles Frederick, Paul E., Bernard Otto, Edward F., Albert J., Margaret Elizabeth and Christine. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 on January 1st, 1970 in McDermott, Scioto, Ohio, USA. He was buried on January 5th, 1970 in Portsmouth, Scioto, Ohio, In Greenlawn Cemetery.2 3 General Notes

Henry BURLING
Funeral services for Henry BURLING, 87, of 1214 Franklin Ave., are to be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church. burial is to be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
A native of Germany, he died Thursday at Rest Haven Nursing Home in McDermott. He was a retired Norfolk and Western Railway telegraph operator.
BURLING was the last surviving charter member of Portsmouth Council Knights of Columbus.
Surviving is a brother, Bernard BURLING, 518 Sixth St.
Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home after noon Sunday.
Recitation of the rosary is to be Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
