Lucas Stevense Van Voorhees 
Lucas Stevense was born in 1650 in Voor Hees, Ruinen, Drenthe, Holland. Lucas Stevense's father was Steven Coerte Van Voorhees and his mother was Willempie Roslofse Seubering. His paternal grandparents were Coert Albert VAN VOORHEES and Mergin UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather was Roelof SEUBERING. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Hendrickjen Stevense, Coert Stephense, Stevenson (Van Voorhees), Cheri Stevense, Johannes Coerte, Jans Stevense, Albert, Abraham Stevense, Mergin Stevense, Hendrickje Stevense, Aaltje (Aelte) Stevense, Jannetje Stevense and Hendrickje Stevense. He was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 63 in 1713 in New Amsterdam, Kings, New York.General Notes
