Jannetje Stevense was born in 1658 in Hees, Ruinen, Drenthe, Holland. Jannetje Stevense's father was Steven Coerte Van Voorhees and her mother was Willempie Roslofse Seubering. Her paternal grandparents were Coert Albert VAN VOORHEES and Mergin UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather was Roelof SEUBERING. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named Hendrickjen Stevense, Coert Stephense, Stevenson (Van Voorhees), Cheri Stevense, Johannes Coerte, Lucas Stevense, Jans Stevense, Albert, Abraham Stevense, Mergin Stevense, Hendrickje Stevense, Aaltje (Aelte) Stevense and Hendrickje Stevense. She was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children. She died about 1690 in , Hackensack, , NJ. She was buried on August 4th, 1705.General Notes
