Sir John de Talbot 
Sir John was born in 1384. Sir John's father was Sir Richard VII de Talbot and his mother was Ankaret le Strange. His paternal grandparents were Lord Gilbert Talbot and Petronilla Boteler; his maternal grandparents were John IX le Strange and Mary Isabel Fitz Alan. He had a brother and two sisters, named Sir Richard VIII, Mary and Joan. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 69 on July 17th, 1453 in Castillon, the Dordogne, France. He was buried in St. Alkmund's, Whitchurch, Salopshire.General Notes
