Margaret was born on November 29th, 1489 in Westminster Palace, Westminster, Middlesex, England.  Margaret's father was Henry VII King of England and her mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Tudor and Margaret Beaufort; her maternal grandparents were Edward IV Plantagenet and Elizabeth Woodville. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Prince of Wales, VIII, Edward, Mary and Catherine.  She died at the age of 51 on October 18th, 1541 in Methven Castle, Perthshire, Scotland.

‌Margaret and James IV were married in a religious ceremony on August 8th, 1503 in Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh, Scotland.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Arthur, James V, Alexander and Margaret.
