Leonor of was born in 1307 in Castile, Spain.  Leonor of's father was Fernando IV "the Summoned" and her mother was Costanza of Portugal.  Her paternal grandparents were Sancho IV "the Fierce" and Maria Alfonsa de Molina; her maternal grandparents were Denis "the Farmer" and Isabel (St. Elizabeth) de Aragón. She had a brother and a sister, named Alfonso XI of and Constanza of.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 52 in 1359 in Chateau de Catroheriz, Spain.
