Richard de Clare VI Earl of Hertford 
Richard was born in 1150 in Clare, Suffolk, England. Richard's father was Roger de Clare Earl of Gloucester and his mother was Countess Maud de St. Hilary de Harcourt. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Roger, John, Henry, Mabel and Elena. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named William. He died at the age of 68 on December 30th, 1218.
