Matilda was born before August 5th, 1102 in LONDON, MIDDLESEX, ENG..  Matilda's father was Henry I BEAUCLERC King of England and her mother was St. Matilda (Edith) CANMORE of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were King of England WILLIAM I the CONQUEROR and Matilda of FLANDERS; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III (MacDuncan) CAENNMOR KING OF SCOTLAND and Margaret ATHELING (St.) the Exile. She had a sister named Matilda.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died on September 10th, 1167 in Notre Dame, Ruoen, Seine-Maritime, France.


Matilda's family with Geoffrey IV Plantagenet

‌Matilda and Geoffrey IV were married in a religious ceremony on April 3rd, 1127 in La Mans, Sarthe, France.  They had a son named Henry II.
