The Empress Matilda DUNKELD Queen of England 
Matilda was born in 1102. Matilda's father was Henry I BEAUCLERC King of England and her mother was St. Matilda (Edith) CANMORE of Scotland. Her paternal grandparents were King of England WILLIAM I the CONQUEROR and Matilda of FLANDERS; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III (MacDuncan) CAENNMOR KING OF SCOTLAND and Margaret ATHELING (St.) the Exile. She had a sister named Matilda. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 65 on September 10th, 1167 in Abbey of Notre Dame des Pres, Rouen.1 -
