Lewis G. Vance

Lewis G. was born in 1839 in Logan,WVA.¹   Lewis G.'s father was Richard Vance and his mother was Mary Ann Sims.  His paternal grandparents were Abner , Sr. Vance and Susanna Howard; his maternal grandmother was Mary Ann Simms. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William, John Wesley, Abner, Richard , Jr, Meekin, Harlin, Paris L. and Mary "Polly".  He was the youngest of the nine children.
