Mary "Polly" Vance

Mary "Polly" was born in 1818.¹   Mary "Polly"'s father was Richard Vance and her mother was Mary Ann Sims.  Her paternal grandparents were Abner , Sr. Vance and Susanna Howard; her maternal grandmother was Mary Ann Simms. She had eight brothers named William, John Wesley, Abner, Richard , Jr, Meekin, Harlin, Paris L. and Lewis G..  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
