Jacob Reed Young 
Jacob Reed was born on August 26th, 1790 in Fort Tackett (St. Albans),WV. Jacob Reed's father was John Young and his mother was Keziah Tackett. His paternal grandparents were Conrad Jung (Young) and Anna Margaretta Franciscus; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Tackett and Mary. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Charles, John Darien, Lewis Naylor, Samuel, Lewis, Elizabeth "Betsy", Margaret, Mary "Polly" Malinda, Nancy, Keziah and Alvira Jane. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 89 in 1879 in Putnam County.-
