Mary E. Buchanan

Mary E. was born in 1880 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Mary E.'s father was William Allen Buchanan and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Hawkins.  Her paternal grandfather was John Buchanan; her maternal grandparents were Solomon Hawkins and Mary James. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James A., George Alexander, Chester Venoy, Joseph Andrew, Lucinda Laport, Effie May and Ann.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Millard Fillmore, Winfield S., Robert Grant, Sarah C. and Alice.
