Lucinda Laport Buchanan

Lucinda Laport was born on November 24th, 1874 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Lucinda Laport's father was William Allen Buchanan and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Hawkins.  Her paternal grandfather was John Buchanan; her maternal grandparents were Solomon Hawkins and Mary James. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James A., George Alexander, Chester Venoy, Joseph Andrew, Mary E., Effie May and Ann.  She was the oldest of the eight children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Millard Fillmore, Winfield S., Robert Grant, Sarah C. and Alice.
